SHANGHAI, Mar 20 (SMM) – In February, transactions in the domestic sulphuric acid market gradually picked up, driving the prices up in the second half of the month. Improving downstream demand alleviated the inventory pressure of sulphuric acid plants. Demand from chemical fertiliser industry will stabilise, while demand from chemical industry will recover. Some sulphuric acid plants have maintenance plans.
Given the low inventory, sulphuric acid prices are on track to climb further in the future.
