According to data from the General Administration of Customs, in the first two months of 2023, the total trade value between China and ASEAN was 951.93 billion yuan, an increase of 9.6%, accounting for 15.4% of China's total foreign trade value. The total trade value between China and the EU was 851.09 billion yuan, a decrease of 2.6%, accounting for 13.8%. The total trade value between China and the US was 702.98 billion yuan, down 10.6%, accounting for 11.4%. Among them, exports to the US totalled 494.11 billion yuan, down 15.2%. Imports from the US reached 208.87 billion yuan, up 2.8%. The trade surplus with the US was 285.24 billion yuan, narrowing by 24.9% The total value of China's trade with Japan was 344.92 billion yuan, down 5.7%, accounting for 5.6%. During the same period, China's total import and export to countries along the "Belt and Road" was 2.12 trillion yuan, an increase of 10.1%. Among them, the export value was 1.25 trillion yuan, an increase of 15.2%, and the import value was 869.39 billion yuan, up 3.6%.
