Benxi Longxin Mining Ratchets up Sishanling Iron Ore Mine Construction

The Sishanling iron ore mine of Benxi Longxin Mining Co., Ltd. has an overall planned annual output of 30 million mt, and the ultimate annual output of iron ore concentrate will exceed 10 million mt. The depth of the main shaft is 1,505 m, which is the deepest shaft in the Asian iron mining industry.

In recent years, the company has promoted project construction with high standards around the goal of building a "safe, intelligent and green mine".

The mining and processing of Sishanling mine has been speeded up. Benxi Longxin Mining Co., Ltd. follows the principle of "one-time planning and phased construction". The first phase of 15 million mt mining and dressing project is divided into two phases. All shafts required by the first 7.5 million mt capacity have been completed, and the annual output of iron ore concentrates will be 2.56 million mt after reaching full capacity.

Three shafts will be added to the latter 7.5 million mt project, all of which are under construction. They are expected to be officially put into production in 2024.
