On February 23, premiums of Jinchuan nickel stood at 6,000-6,200 yuan/mt, with an average of 6,100 yuan/mt, 50 yuan/mt lower than the previous trading day.
Those of Nornickel nickel premium were 4,000-4,300 yuan/mt, with an average of 4,150 yuan/mt, flat at the previous trading day.
Although SHFE nickel strengthened on macroeconomic factors, the lack of support from fundamentals pushed nickel prices lower today, with spot premiusm falling further.
In terms of nickel briquette, the prices were 207,600-208,600 yuan/mt, down 3,700 yuan/mt. Spot transaction is weak.
