Both Imports and Exports of LiPF6 Slid in Dec on Weak Demand

SHANGHAI, Feb 2 (SMM) - According to customs data, China's lithium hexafluorophosphate (LiPF6) imports in December 2022 were 48 mt, down 36% month-on-month and 73% year-on-year. The total value of LiPF6 imports was $1,695,096, with an average import price of $35,313/mt, an increase of 6% over the month and up 3% on an annual basis.

At the same time, China exported 1,412 mt of LiPF6 in December 2022, down 22% from the previous month while up 18% from a year ago. The average export price stood $21,067/mt, a decrease of 12% on a monthly and also an annual basis.
