SHANGHAI, Jan 5 (SMM) – The total inventory of HRC across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 2.74 million mt as of January 5, up 200,900 mt or 7.91% from a week ago, a decrease of 6.31% on the year.
The inventory across social warehouses was 1.79 million mt, up 187,300 mt or 11.67% from the previous week, a drop of 15.32% on the year.
The in-plant inventory of steel makers totalled 947,800 mt, down 13,500 mt or 1.45% on the week, and a gain of 17.26% on the year.
