In terms of urban and rural areas, the per capita disposable income of urban residents was 13832 yuan, an increase of 5.4% (if not specified below, a nominal increase over the same period last year), an increase of 4.2% in real terms, while the per capita disposable income of rural residents was 5778 yuan, an increase of 7.0%. After deducting the price factor, the real growth was 6.3%.

I. income of residents

In the first quarter, the per capita disposable income of residents nationwide was 10345 yuan, an increase of 6.3 percent in nominal terms over the previous year, or 5.1 percent in real terms after deducting the price factor. In terms of urban and rural areas, the per capita disposable income of urban residents was 13832 yuan, an increase of 5.4% (if not specified below, a nominal increase over the same period last year), an increase of 4.2% in real terms, while the per capita disposable income of rural residents was 5778 yuan, an increase of 7.0%. After deducting the price factor, the real growth was 6.3%.

In the first quarter, the median per capita disposable income of residents nationwide was 8504 yuan, an increase of 6.1 percent, and the median was 82.2 percent of the average. Of these, the median per capita disposable income of urban residents was 11720 yuan, an increase of 5.7%, and the median per capita disposable income of rural residents was 4608 yuan, an increase of 6.2%, with a median of 79.8% of the average.

According to the source of income, in the first quarter, the per capita wage income of residents nationwide was 5871 yuan, up 6.6%, accounting for 56.8% of disposable income; the per capita net operating income was 1733 yuan, up 5.4%, accounting for 16.7% of disposable income; and the per capita net property income was 920 yuan, up 6.1%, accounting for 8.9% of disposable income. The per capita net transfer income was 1822 yuan, an increase of 6.3%, accounting for 17.6% of disposable income.

II. Consumption expenditure of residents

In the first quarter, the per capita consumer expenditure of residents nationwide was 6393 yuan, an increase of 6.9 percent in nominal terms over the previous year, or 5.7 percent in real terms after deducting the influence of price factors. In terms of urban and rural areas, the per capita consumption expenditure of urban residents was 7924 yuan, an increase of 5.7%, an increase of 4.4% in real terms after deducting price factors, while that of rural residents was 4388 yuan, an increase of 8.6%, and 7.8% in real terms after deducting price factors.

In the first quarter, per capita consumption expenditure on food, tobacco and alcohol was 2084 yuan, up 4.9%, accounting for 32.6% of per capita consumption expenditure; per capita consumption expenditure on clothing was 453 yuan, up 3.6%, accounting for 7.1% of per capita consumption expenditure; per capita residential consumption expenditure was 1435 yuan, an increase of 6.7%, accounting for 22.5% of per capita consumption expenditure Per capita consumption expenditure on daily necessities and services was 356 yuan, up 4.8%, accounting for 5.6% of per capita consumption expenditure; per capita consumption expenditure on transportation and communications was 791 yuan, up 12.7%, accounting for 12.4% of per capita consumption expenditure; per capita consumption expenditure on education, culture and entertainment was 583 yuan, an increase of 6.9%, accounting for 9.1% of per capita consumption expenditure. Per capita consumption expenditure on health care was 528 yuan, an increase of 9.1%, accounting for 8.3% of per capita consumption expenditure, while per capita consumption expenditure on other goods and services was 163 yuan, an increase of 17.1%, accounting for 2.5% of per capita consumption expenditure.
