According to the spot price of SMM, the spot price of domestic battery-grade lithium hydroxide has risen to 47.1 ~ 480000 yuan / ton, and the average price has risen 8000 yuan per day to 475500 yuan / ton. Today is the second day in a row that battery-grade lithium hydroxide has risen by 8000 yuan / ton.
SMM research shows that the supply of lithium hydroxide is low at present, and there is a certain increase in downstream procurement demand, so the price of lithium hydroxide has risen rapidly recently. For the price trend in the future, based on the current fundamentals of the lithium hydroxide market, SMM believes that the rising rate of lithium hydroxide may be faster than that of battery-grade lithium carbonate, and the price difference between the two may further narrow.
It is worth mentioning that the spot price of lithium metal rose to 285.4-2.914 million yuan / ton, and the average price jumped 100000 yuan a day to 2.884 million yuan / ton. Since the beginning of the year, the average spot price of lithium metal has risen by 1.489 million yuan per ton, an increase of 106.74%.
