SHANGHAI, Nov 30 (SMM) – Yunnan Yuntianhua Co. announced to invest in the construction of a 500,000 mt/year iron phosphate battery new material precursor and supporting projects in the Caopu Chemical Park, Anning Industrial Park, Anning City, Yunnan Province. The overall project investment is estimated to be 7.286 billion yuan.
The company is expected to invest about 2.247 billion yuan to build a 100,000 mt/year iron phosphate project and supporting facilities, including 100,000 mt/year iron phosphate, 100,000 mt/year hydrometallurgy refined phosphoric acid, and 200,000 mt/year H₂O₂. It will invest about 5.039 billion yuan to build to 200,000 mt/year iron phosphate projects and supporting facilities.
The construction of new 100,000 mt/year iron phosphate project and supporting facilities are expected to be completed in June 2022, and the construction of two 200,000 mt iron phosphate projects and supporting facilities are expected to be completed in December 2023.
