SMM July 26: on the evening of July 25, Skyline announced that Xintai Materials, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, signed an "annual procurement agreement" with Zhangjiagang Guotai Huarong and Ning Germany Taihuarong on the supply of lithium hexafluorophosphate.
According to the agreement, from July 2021 to June 2023, Xintai Materials needs to supply not less than 12000 tons of lithium hexafluorophosphate to Zhangjiagang Guotai Huarong and Ning Germany Taihuarong; from July 2022 to June 2023, according to Xintai material production capacity and actual production, on the basis of the original locked supply, Xintai Materials plans to supply no less than 2400 tons of lithium hexafluorophosphate products to both.
It is worth mentioning that in order to ensure the effective implementation of the agreement, Zhangjiagang Guotai Huarong and Ning Germany Huarong paid a certain amount of advance payment to Xintai material as a deposit for the lock volume of Xintai material from July 2021 to June 2023. The agreement is valid until June 30, 2023, and may be extended for another year if there is no disagreement between the two parties.
As we all know, lithium hexafluorophosphate is the main electrolyte in the electrolyte of lithium battery. with the sudden increase in demand for power batteries, its inventory has already reached the historical low in recent years, and it is not uncommon that supply falls short of demand. a number of enterprises producing lithium hexafluorophosphate are in a state of full production and full sales, but even so, it is still unable to stop the rising price of lithium hexafluorophosphate.
In this context, lithium hexafluorophosphate has naturally become a "sought-after product" in the eyes of a large number of mid-stream enterprises. Xintai Materials, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tianji Co., Ltd., as an enterprise mainly committed to the research and development, production and sales of lithium hexafluorophosphate products, has naturally been looted by a number of enterprises. On July 18, Tianji also announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Xintai Materials had signed a "long-term cooperation agreement" with Shenzhen BYD on the long-term supply of lithium hexafluorophosphate.
According to the agreement, Xintai Materials will supply no less than 3500 tons of lithium hexafluorophosphate to Shenzhen BYD from July 2021 to December 2022, and 3600,7800 tons in 2023.
