Construction of Global Aluminium foil Industry "Lighthouse" Factory in Hungary

SMM News: it is reported that (Lotte Aluminium), a subsidiary of Rakuten Group of Korea, is investing in building a world's most advanced aluminum foil plant in Hungary, specializing in the production of electric vehicles and hybrid vehicle battery foil, with a production capacity of about 30,000 tons per year, which is expected to be put into production in 2021. The project is the first large-scale high-end aluminum foil factory built in Europe in more than 40 years, with three high-end foil mills in Aherbach, Germany.

All the equipment on the production line of the project is supplied by Ahenbach, which ensures high production efficiency and optimization of materials, and is easy to solve in the event of failure. The main equipment is as follows:

Optimized networking platform (Optilink). The networking platform uses big data technology, which can create expected benefits for users. It is a cloud-based physical networking platform, which realizes the overall networking of all equipment in the whole production line. Operators can control real-time production processes and operating conditions anytime, anywhere, including quantity and quality.

Optimize automatic rolling system (Optirol1). The system combines the rich professional knowledge of aluminum foil production and decades of mill manufacturing experience of Aherbach, and can reduce the rolling thickness of aluminum foil to the thinnest. It consists of a series of modules: MillModelling process simulation, MillView visualization, MillGauge strip thickness control, MillFlat strip flatness control, MillDrive drive control, sequence control.

Rolling oil filtration system and flue gas treatment. Ahimbach's Superstack rolling oil filtration system and flue gas purification system are also at the high end of similar equipment, which can ensure the purity of rolling oil, roll out high-end surface quality battery foil, and then discharge the flue gas after purification treatment, in full compliance with the current most stringent environmental regulations and regulations, all of which work together in a closed loop and are automated.

Aluminum foil slitting and rewinding system NovaslitS. The cutting machine has an innovative water-air mass balance pressure system for double diaphragm cylinders and a new cutting and vacuuming system optimized for the thinnest foil, and can be kept dust-free and oil-free as much as possible. and single-layer and double-layer rolling can be successfully realized without additional debugging.

Optimized automatic rolling system Optirol1i3. It is integrated, digital and modular. Ahenbach DVC backup roll system with dynamically adjusted crown, Ahenbach UniSpray coolant distribution system with adaptive fuel injection head, non-hose rolling oil spray system, including thermal spraying system for roll cooling for optimal heat dissipation, Ahenbach UniDry purging system for efficient and uniform drying of foil surface, Ahenbach FFS automatic foil feeding system, ironing roll system for maximum winding speed.

It can be seen that the new Rakuten aluminum foil plant in Hungary has great strategic significance, comprehensive design concept, superb technical level, excellent equipment, strict environmental control and thoughtful safety considerations. can be called the "lighthouse project" of the world aluminum foil industry.

It is reported that China's Nanshan Group has also built a similar aluminum foil factory in the East China Sea, with a production capacity of 40,000 tons per year, which can be put into production this year. At the same time, the factory recently introduced two Kangfu slitting machines, which, like the Ahenbach slitting machine, are used to cut ultra-thin, ultra-wide and ultra-fine battery foil.
