Aluminium billet stocks fall as deliveries remain en route

SHANGHAI, Jun 6 (SMM) – Inventories of aluminium billet in China continued to fall this week, as significant deliveries have yet to arrive at warehouses.

SMM data showed that stocks of 6063 aluminium billet across five major consumption areas decreased by some 14,100 mt from Thursday May 30 to stand at 63,100 mt as of Thursday June 6, after a decline of 1,200 mt in the previous week.

Foshan, Guangdong – 27,000 mt

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 7,200 mt

Changzhou, Jiangsu – 7,000 mt

Huzhou, Zhejiang – 7,500 mt

Nanchang, Jiangxi – 14,400 mt
