Report: Camel Group begins construction of secondary refined lead, battery project

The project is designed with an annualised capacity of 200,000 mt secondary refined lead and 4 million kVAh lead-acid batteries

SHANGHAI, Feb 26 (SMM) – Construction of a secondary refined lead and lead-acid battery project at Camel Group’s factory in Anhui province commenced last week, a source told SMM.

Located at Tianying Technology Park in Fuyang city, the project is designed with an annualised capacity of 200,000 mt secondary refined lead and 4 million kVAh lead-acid batteries. 

With an investment of 1 billion yuan, the project will adopt advanced technology for the treatment of waste lead-acid batteries, and create a green development model for the production, sales, and recycling of lead-acid batteries.
