SHANGHAI, Jul. 13 (SMM) – Motive battery replacement demand remained sluggish in Jiangsu, leading to slow pace of consumption, with wholesale price of 48v20Ah at 530-540 yuan, SMM learned from local distributors. Those distributors will sell goods mainly by on-hand inventories in a short term.

In Jiangxi, battery orders were still poor due to sluggish demand, increasing inventories. Battery producers held operating rate at around 80% for now.
“Motive battery demand fell short of anticipation in peak season with poor orders”, battery producers in Zhejiang said. Those battery producers held operating rate around 90% at present, and purchased lead based on orders.
