SHANGHAI, Jun. 19 (SMM) – SMM released survey result of operating rates at domestic zinc industries in May.
The survey shows the average operating rate at galvanizers rose 10.9% from April to 77.9%. The average operating rates at die-cast zinc alloy producers fell 2% on the month to 59.5% in May, and will fall further in June.

The rate slid to 56.8% at zinc oxide plants, and is expected to rise in June.
