SHANGHAI, Jul. 20 (SMM) – Five aluminum rod producers located near Inner Mongolia HMHJ Aluminum & Electricity Co. will shut down from July 21 due to incomplete environmental protection procedures, SMM learned.

The shutdown will last about one week. SMM also learned that Inner Mongolia HMHJ Aluminum & Electricity Co. has put its 50,000-tpy new aluminum project aside due to environmental issue as well.
