SHANGHAI, May 23 (SMM) – Declines in Chinese motive battery market are expected to continue into June, SMM reckons.
Traditional slack season comes ahead of schedule this year due to temperature factors and weak demand leads to pick-up in inventories at most battery producers.
Oversupply continues in motive battery market and leading-brand battery producers start sales promotion activities. Less-known battery prices also trace famous battery prices down.
Most industrial insiders are not optimistic over motive battery market in June and large makers will ramp up production for half-year target. This will boost possibility for sales promotion in market. On the demand side, consumption should remain weak.
