SHANGHAI, May 19 (SMM) – SHFE 1607 lead contract started at RMB 12,815/mt overnight and moved lower to RMB 12,700/mt. The contract grew to RMB 12,870/mt before closing at RMB 12,780/mt, down RMB 90/mt or 0.7%.
SHFE 1607 lead opened at RMB 12,815/mt on Thursday and moved around RMB 12,790/mt before rallying to RMB 12,870/mt. The contract ended at RMB 12,870/mt. Trading volumes were up 3,834 to 11,854 lots and positions dropped 968 to 16,522.
SHFE 1607 lead should fall further in near term.
