SHANGHAI, Apr. 7 (SMM) - Jiangxi Copper Co. began design work recently to increase 10,000 tonne per day ore beneficiation capacity at its Chengmenshan copper mine, which will grow the mine’s total daily ore processing capacity to 18,000 tonne, cnmn.com reports.
Once operational, the open-pit mine is expected to produce 31,824 tonnes (copper content) of copper concentrate each year, and about 1.01 million tonnes of standard sulfur concentrate.
