Adani’s Kutch Copper Raises Utilisation Target to 80–85% as Feedstock Deals Support Ramp-Up

Adani’s Kutch Copper aims to raise capacity utilisation to 80–85% by the end of its financial year in March, up from the 75% target outlined in July. Finance head Manan Vakharia said long-term contracts cover approximately 50–60% of concentrate requirements, with a further 20% secured through spot purchases. The 500,000-tonne-per-year copper facility operated at 64% utilisation in the September quarter, producing 80,200 tonnes and selling 80,600 tonnes. Secured feedstock supplies are supporting its continued ramp-up despite tight global concentrate availability.
