[SMM Computing Power News] Two H100 units in east China quoted at 92,000, hitting a new high for this model

SMM learned that two H100 SXM module units in east China are available for external rental at a monthly rate of 92,000 yuan per unit. Previously, the upper limit for rental quotes of this model was 88,000 yuan for east China long-term contracts in September and close to 90,000 yuan in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei area. This deal is more than 4,000 yuan higher, marking the first time it has crossed the 90,000 yuan threshold. Compared with a sample from the northwest in October, where a one-year lease started at 87,000 yuan, this deal is 5,000 yuan higher, an increase of 5.7%. Compared with the September spot quote of 3.4 million yuan for a complete unit, the payback period based on this rental rate is approximately 37 months.

SMM learned that on November 4, a cloud service channel reported an annual rental quote of approximately 100,000 yuan/month for an 8-card NVIDIA H100 80GB HBM3 server, with similar resources priced at around 92,000 yuan/month this week. The resource is offered on an annual rental basis, not a long-term lease, and is configured with two Intel Xeon Platinum 8468 processors and 2048GB of DDR5 memory. [SMM Computing Power Midday Review] H100 Falls Below 90,000 for the First Time, 5090 Turbo Continues to Decline

Of the 19 indices today, 18 remained unchanged. The highest monthly rental for the H100 in the Yangtze River Delta rose from 87,000 yuan to 92,000 yuan (up 5.7%), with the highest per-card hourly rate at 15.97 yuan, breaking the 90,000-yuan mark for the first time and matching the 92,000-yuan quote for two spot units in east China, while the lowest price of 78,000 yuan held steady. In south China, 38 RTX 5090 turbo cards were quoted at 48,000 yuan, with the tax-exclusive price down another 500 yuan from October 28 and the tax-inclusive price 12.4% lower, while fan-cooled and ROG models remained at 53,000 yuan.
