[SMM PV Newsletter] JA Solar Technology Exclusively Supplies Teraco's 120 MW PV Project in South Africa
Recently, JA Solar Technology was selected as the exclusive PV module supplier for Teraco's Sediba 120MW PV project in Parys, Free State, South Africa, and will provide the high-efficiency n-type modules required for the project. The owner of this plant, Teraco, is a service provider offering carrier-neutral, cloud-neutral, and producer-neutral data center environments for managed services. Once completed, the renewable electricity generated will be fed into the national power grid, and through a wheeling mechanism in cooperation with local municipalities and Eskom, the corresponding renewable energy output will be allocated to Teraco's data center operations. After the project is commissioned, annual power generation is expected to exceed 354,000 MWh, and the project is planned to enter operation before the end of 2026.

[SMM PV News] Listed in All Four Quarters! Risen Energy's Energy Storage Once Again Selected for BNEF Energy Storage Tier 1 List
Recently, BloombergNEF (BNEF) released its Q4 2026 global energy storage system manufacturer Tier 1 list, and Risen Energy once again made the list, continuing to earn recognition from authoritative international institutions and confirming the company's stable product strength, global project delivery capabilities, and market acceptance. BNEF is a highly influential third-party research institution in the global new energy sector. The Tier 1 list is updated quarterly based on a project database using a transparent methodology, serving as an important reference benchmark for ex-China project owners, EPCs, and financial institutions in selecting ESS suppliers. The list's evaluation dimensions cover installed capacity performance, delivery and fulfillment records, and market coverage breadth. The stringent screening criteria also make Tier 1 status an important marker of an ESS enterprise's commercialization strength.

PV Glass November Quotes Rise Across the Board, but Module Resistance Hinders Deal Transmission [SMM Analysis]
[SMM Analysis: November PV Glass Quotes Rise Across the Board, but Module Resistance Hinders Transaction Transmission] Since late October, PV glass prices have resumed their upward trend, driven by cost support and supply contraction. The average prices of mainstream 3.2mm and 2.0mm double-layer coated glass have cumulatively risen by approximately 4% and 8%, respectively, compared with early September, with the gains concentrated in the week from late October to early November. November quotes for new orders have generally moved higher, but module manufacturers are strongly resisting and pushing for lower prices, and actual transactions have yet to fully catch up. Continued inventory destocking, ongoing production cuts and shutdowns on the supply side, and stronger fuel costs together form a floor for prices, but weak module scheduled production has hindered the transmission of price increases to end-users. Overall, November glass prices are expected to consolidate at elevated levels with a firm bias—more likely to rise than fall—but with limited upside.
