[SMM Aluminum Express News] Indonesia's Alamtri Minerals records US$522 million in aluminum sales during 9M 2026 as KAI smelter operations contribute to revenue growth. PT Alamtri Minerals Indonesia Tbk reported consolidated revenue of US$1.25 billion for January–September 2026, increasing 85.6% year-on-year from US$675.1 million. Net profit rose 75.3% to US$353.6 million. The company's aluminum business, operated through its 65%-owned subsidiary PT Kalimantan Aluminium Industry (KAI), generated US$522.4 million in sales, accounting for approximately 41.7% of total revenue. Aluminum sales recorded a cost of revenue of US$337.8 million, resulting in a gross profit of approximately US$184.6 million. KAI operates a primary aluminum smelter at the Kalimantan Industrial Park Indonesia (KIPI) in North Kalimantan. As of September 30, the group reported US$238.2 million in aluminum inventories and US$88.8 million in aluminum raw materials. KAI also disclosed forward contracts covering 69,400 mt of aluminum for October 2026–May 2027, alongside outstanding aluminum delivery commitments of approximately 60,400 mt through 2027. The financial results highlight the growing contribution of primary aluminum to Alamtri's business as Indonesia expands its domestic smelting industry. However, the statements do not provide a specific aluminium production volume for the reporting period, meaning actual smelter output cannot be determined directly from the reported sales revenue.
