Rare Earth Prices Show Mixed Changes; Pr-Nd Weakens While Ho-Er Rises Against the Trend [SMM Rare Earth Daily Review]
[SMM Rare Earth Daily Review: Rare earth prices mixed; Pr-Nd weakens while holmium and erbium buck the trend upward] In the short term, the Pr-Nd series may continue to consolidate on a subdued note amid insufficient transaction follow-through and loosening upstream quotes, with stabilization depending on the pace of downstream order releases. On the medium-heavy rare earth side, gadolinium products move in tandem with Pr-Nd, and their subsequent trend still hinges on whether Pr-Nd can stop falling. Holmium and erbium may remain relatively strong supported by export orders, but attention should be paid to the sustainability of oxide export growth. Terbium and dysprosium are likely to remain largely stable in the short term.
