[SMM PV News] Mombwa 120 MW Project Successfully Connected to Grid
Recently, the 120 MW Mubwa PV power plant project in Zambia, operated and maintained by Sumec Energy, was successfully connected to the grid and began generating electricity. The project completed reverse power transmission on October 2, and the PV area was successfully connected to the grid on October 7. At this stage, approximately 70 MW of capacity has been stably integrated into the local power grid. The project owner sent a letter of appreciation specifically to fully recognize the professional competence and problem-solving dedication of the on-site O&M team. This grid connection is not only an important milestone for Sumec Energy in deepening its presence in the ex-China new energy O&M sector and continuing to expand into emerging markets, but also a practical achievement of the engineering and O&M teams working together to go global and overcome challenges through coordinated efforts.
