Centinela's two unions resumed voluntary mediation on October 13 and quantified the strike's operational impact. They said conventional haul trucks in service fell to 25 from 67, while 17 autonomous trucks were running compared with 21 normally. The unions represent more than half of critical equipment operators and over 60% of maintenance staff, warning impacts could intensify in November. Antofagasta Minerals earlier said the strike involved 709 workers, or 22% of direct employees, and kept its production outlook unchanged. Centinela's 2026 molybdenum guidance remains 3,000–3,500 tonnes of contained metal. No company statement has confirmed a molybdenum circuit shutdown or quantified lost molybdenum output, so SMM is not revising its supply forecast.

[SMM Steel] Indonesian steel billet rebounded slightly to $473/mt FOB, driven by market adjustments, with downward pressure persisting.

[Indonesia] Indonesian steel billet prices rose to $473/mt FOB today, up from $470/mt yesterday (October 13, 2026), after falling $2/mt last Friday (October 9, 2026). Today's increase was merely a market price adjustment, and the price level remains low. Slow local demand left steel mills with no choice but to lower billet prices. Chinese prices, one of the main drivers of Indonesian steel prices, also showed no signs of rising, adding further downward pressure. Prices may continue to move lower within this week.

[Krakatau Steel Plates Feed Conrad Petroleum's 750-Tonne Conductor Support Frame, Targeting 65% Local Content]

Conrad Petroleum's Conductor Support Frame (CSF), a support structure built from steel pipe material weighing 750 tonnes, is scheduled to arrive at Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta, on October 22, 2026. SKK Migas Head Djoko Siswanto said he received a progress report on the material procurement from Conrad Petroleum and SKK Migas on Saturday (October 10, 2026). The material covers 27 variations of pipe diameter and grade, totaling 242 joints of 12 meters each. The steel plates come from Krakatau Steel in Cilegon, Banten, and will be fabricated at PT PAL Indonesia in Surabaya, East Java. Under this scheme, the CSF targets a local content (TKDN) level of 65% overall, as part of efforts to strengthen the domestic supply chain for upstream oil and gas projects.
