October 11, US President Donald Trump announced an immediately effective energy ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy expressed support while awaiting details from Washington. Moscow had not responded by the report’s update.

In his evening address, Zelenskiy said energy infrastructure remained under attack, including a combined heat and power plant in Kharkiv. A Ukrainian official said the plant was struck after Trump’s announcement.

【SMM News Flash】 Goa Raises Industrial Power Charges Through January 2027

October 10, India’s Goa state raised industrial electricity charges immediately through January 2027. High-voltage users face an additional INR0.80/kWh during 09:00–17:00 and 01:00–09:00. During 17:00–01:00, surcharges are INR2/kWh for 11 kV users and INR3.25/kWh for 33 kV and 110 kV users. The changes cover 1,082 industrial consumers, including 177 connected at 33 kV or 110 kV. Goa currently faces a peak-period power shortfall of approximately 80 MW.
