[SMM Flash] Gotion to Supply 6 GWh of Battery Storage for Saudi Arabia’s First Utility-Scale BESS Tender

Gotion High-Tech has been selected as the battery energy storage system supplier for three utility-scale projects in Saudi Arabia, with a combined storage capacity of 6 GWh. The projects were awarded to a consortium led by ACWA Power under Saudi Arabia’s first utility-scale battery storage tender. The projects mark a further expansion of Chinese battery suppliers in the Middle East, where large-scale energy storage deployment is accelerating alongside renewable power development.
