Fulin Precision and CATL's Lithium Iron Phosphate Project Hits New Milestone with Zone B Production Launch

Published: Sep 20, 2026 09:14
The 35,000-ton-per-year high-compaction lithium iron phosphate project jointly invested in by Fulin Precision and CATL has reached a new milestone, with products from Zone B coming off the production line. The project’s planned capacity could support battery-material demand for approximately 1.4 million pure-electric vehicles and is mainly aimed at the high-energy-density power-battery and energy-storage markets. However, the Zone B launch does not mean that the full 350,000-ton capacity has reached production.

Xuetian Salt to Acquire Hebei Kuntian, Entering Lithium-Ion Battery Sector Amid Insider Trading Probe
Hunan-based Xuetian Salt Industry plans to acquire 100% of Hebei Kuntian New Energy through a combination of share issuance and cash payment, marking its entry into the lithium-ion battery anode-material sector. Hebei Kuntian produces artificial graphite, silicon-based and hard-carbon anode materials for energy storage. However, one of the transaction counterparties has been placed under investigation by the China Securities Regulatory Commission for suspected insider trading, creating uncertainty over whether the restructuring can proceed smoothly.
