[SMM Computing Power Flash] South China 5090 fan cards quoted at 47,100 yuan, up 12% from the previous batch

SMM has learned that 200 RTX 5090 fan cards are available for spot sale in South China, quoted at 47,100 yuan per card. Compared with the quote of 42,000 yuan per card for 200 fan cards in the same region in early September, this deal is up 5,100 yuan, an increase of about 12%; over the same period, the single-card price for this model in the Hong Kong market was $5,600. SMM believes that fan card quotes have moved up continuously recently, and rush buying on the hardware side is still ongoing; meanwhile, monthly rental for a full RTX 5090 system on the leasing side remains at 13,500-16,000 yuan, further widening the price spread between hardware and leasing.

SMM learned that a data center in south-west China is offering 16 H20 96G eight-GPU complete servers for rent, with a one-year closed contract, one-month deposit and one-month rent, spot units available for splitting, at a monthly rent of 53,000 yuan per unit per month, including 6% tax, cabinet space, and power, equivalent to approximately 6,625 yuan per GPU. The configuration includes 2TB of memory and four 400G IB network cards, meeting training cluster-grade specifications. Bandwidth is billed separately at 20 yuan/M/month, and IP addresses cost 50 yuan each, with 20M of bandwidth and one IP address included for free. Compared with quotes of 46,000 yuan and 39,000 yuan for the same model in east China, this listing is priced higher, highlighting its performance advantage as a training cluster.

On September 12, SMM learned that a Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei channel distributor signed a new batch of Huawei Ascend 910B4 eight-card servers, totaling 64 units, configured with 4× Kunpeng 920 48-core CPUs, 8× Ascend 910B4 (280T FP16 per card, 64G memory), 16× 64G RAM, 2× 480G SSD system disks, and 2× 3.84T NVMe data disks. The monthly rental quote is 15,500 yuan per unit, with lease terms of either one year or three years available. The channel party stated that this batch is a first-hand resource. The entry of a 64-unit batch into the 15,500 yuan monthly rental tier, with one-year and three-year terms priced the same, reflects a growing willingness on the supply side to lock in shipments through long-term leases.
