This week, replacement demand in the lead-acid battery market has yet to show significant improvement. After dealers made substantial purchases during battery producers' promotional period in August, they mostly focused on digesting inventories in September. In the battery wholesale market, sales promotions and expectations for price hikes coexist, and battery selling prices remain stable for now. However, it is worth noting that lead-acid battery producers are currently concentrating on delivering earlier orders, and a few e-bike battery producers have seen delivery cycles for certain battery models lengthen from within one week to more than two weeks. On the producer side, lead prices continue to consolidate at highs, and downstream enterprises are purchasing as needed. Although the spot lead market has not seen substantial purchasing activity, downstream enterprises remain relatively steady in picking up goods under long-term contracts and supplementing with spot orders.
