[SMM Steel] Indian HRC Export Indications for Europe at 580–600USD/tonne FOB; European Domestic Offers Rise

Published: Sep 10, 2026 15:54
[India Export] Indian HRC export indications for Europe were heard at 580–600USD/tonne FOB India. A higher seller indication of around 715USD/tonne CFR North Europe was also heard, but no transaction was confirmed at that level. Seller attention remained focused on the European market, while no fresh Indian HRC deal into Vietnam was reported. Indian billet export indications were unchanged at 485–490USD/tonne FOB India, with no new transaction confirmed. European domestic HRC offers moved higher this week, with a major mill raising its November-delivery price for southern Europe by 23USD/tonne (20EUR/tonne) to around 918USD/tonne (790EUR/tonne) delivered. Rising raw-material and energy costs, firm mill order books and reduced import competition supported the increase.
