[SMM Computing Power Flash] East China 3 units of 910B4 relocatable annual contract 19,000, 27% higher than online

On September 10, SMM learned that a smart cloud computing service provider's Jiangsu data center publicly listed a 5090 8-card server configuration (Intel 8380×2, 32G turbo cards×8, DDR4 3200 1T memory, 25G network card), with short-term rental quoted at 14,000 yuan/month. Another computing power service provider's east China data center accepted annual contracts for the same 5090 configuration at 12,000 yuan/month (512G memory), while the 1T memory tier was quoted at 14,000 yuan/month for short-term rental. The two providers formed a three-tier price gradient of 12,000-14,000 yuan/month, with the price spread mainly driven by memory configuration (512G vs. 1T) and lease term structure (annual contract vs. short-term rental). Channel feedback indicated that in September, the back-to-school season saw a rise in the proportion of short-term rental orders from universities.

SMM learned that two newly released relocatable 910B3 resources in east China are available for lease, with an annual contract at a monthly rent of 19,000 yuan per unit. During the same period, relocatable 910B4 resources in the same region were also quoted at 19,000 yuan, putting the two models at the same price again; meanwhile, online cloud resources for the 910B3 were priced at 16,000 yuan per unit per month, making the relocatable option 3,000 yuan higher, a premium of 19%. SMM believes that with the 910B3 and 910B4 remaining at the same price, a model-based tiered pricing mechanism for domestic computing power has yet to be established, and delivery method is currently the main pricing dimension.

SMM, September 9 - A certain channel quoted end-users a monthly rental of 87,000 yuan per unit for HGX H100 8-GPU full servers at a North China data center. The corresponding configuration includes an NVIDIA HGX H100 8-GPU board (SXM5 640G, 80G per card x8), Intel Platinum 8558 CPUs, 64GB RDIMM 4800MHz Dual Rank totaling 2TB of memory, an SSD SATA 960G system drive, an SSD 3.84T data drive, eight 400Gb NDR InfiniBand/Ethernet cards, and 100M shared bandwidth. SMM learned that the end-user needs only four full servers, but the channel made it clear that splitting the order for delivery would be difficult and preferred to sell them as a package. The 87,000 yuan reflects the recent quoted price level for the same configuration from the channel side.
