[Shyam Metalics’ August Flat Steel Sales More Than Double YoY]

India's Shyam Metalics and Energy reported carbon steel flat-product sales of 29,262tonnes in August 2026, up 114.1% year on year and 42.8% month on month. Average realisation rose 13.9% year on year to 82,395INR/tonne. Carbon steel long-product sales reached 142,897tonnes, up 2.8% year on year, while metallics sales increased 28% to 334,957tonnes. The company's flat-product segment includes CR coils and sheets, crash barriers and HR tubes and pipes.
