[ Cognor Group Steelmaking Utilization Climbs to 92% in Second Quarter ]

Polish steel manufacturer Cognor SA reported a 9.1% year-on-year revenue increase to 1.14 billion zlotys ($333.1 million) for the first half of 2026. The financial rebound was anchored by a major operational improvement at its Siemianowice Śląskie mill, allowing the company to surge its overall steelmaking capacity utilization rate to 92% in the second quarter, up from just 71% during the same period last year. The optimized output successfully generated a net profit of 5.7 million zlotys for the half-year window.

The monthly volume represents the company's highest recorded billing shipment value in recent periods.
