Futures: The cast aluminum alloy 2611 contract shot up before pulling back this morning. It opened at 23,610 yuan, which was also the intraday low, then drifted higher to a high of 23,705 yuan before meeting resistance and retreating. It closed the morning at 23,645 yuan, up 55 yuan or 0.23% from yesterday's settlement price.
Spot: The ADC12 market remained generally stable today. On one hand, aluminum prices and aluminum scrap raw material prices saw limited fluctuations today, with little change on the cost side, providing insufficient impetus for enterprises to adjust prices. On the other hand, the current recovery in downstream demand remains relatively mild, with purchases mainly driven by immediate needs, and the improvement in market transactions has yet to form strong support. Against the backdrop of relatively stable costs and limited demand recovery, the industry's overall willingness to adjust prices is low, and enterprises generally prefer to keep quotes steady and wait for market changes. In the short term, ADC12 prices are expected to remain stable with some consolidation, and the future price direction will still depend on changes in aluminum prices and aluminum scrap costs, as well as whether end-use demand can be further released during the September peak season.
Imports: Overseas ADC12 offers are currently stable at $3,050-3,180/mt. As domestic prices strengthened slightly, import losses narrowed further to around 400 yuan/mt.
