[SMM Precious Metal Express] Fed Governor Waller said that next month's CPI and PPI are expected to be at "reasonable levels," and the current rate setting could bring inflation back to the 2% target, suggesting waiting for another meeting before deciding. Markets interpreted this as dovish, with traders trimming September rate hike odds from 63% to 60%. The dollar fell 0.56%, Treasury yields dropped across the curve, and spot gold rose approximately 2%.
