Published: Sep 3, 2026 09:18

core holes (totaling 1,633 meters) of its spring 2026 drill program at the Wicheeda Rare Earth Project in British Columbia, Canada. Highlights include: Hole WI26-96 returned 65 meters at 2.86% TREO, including 20.3 meters at 6.15% TREO; Hole WI26-93 returned 184 meters at 1.70% TREO, including 57 meters at 2.52% TREO; Hole WI26-86 returned 69.8 meters at 3.69% TREO, including 32 meters at 5.03% TREO; Hole WI26-100 returned 149 meters at 1.55% TREO, including 85 meters at 2.40% TREO; and Hole WI26-102 returned 73.4 meters at 2.62% TREO, including 34.3 meters at 3.25% TREO.

The Wicheeda project benefits from excellent infrastructure, located approximately 80 km from Prince George with access to road, rail, power, and gas facilities. The 2025 PFS outlined an after-tax NPV of C$1 billion, an after-tax IRR of 19%, initial capital costs of C$1.4 billion, and a 15-year mine life producing 31,900 t/year of TREO concentrate. These results reinforce Wicheeda's potential as one of Canada's most advanced and accessible rare earth projects.

[SMM Rare Earth Daily Review: Pr-Nd Quotations Raised in the Rare Earth Market, Trading at a Stalemate with Strong Wait-and-See Sentiment] Overall, the rare earth market has entered a phase of differentiated adjustments, with price trends and market trading activity diverging in tandem. Pr-Nd quotations were raised, but downstream inquiries and purchases remained cautious, with limited actual transaction volume, leaving the buy-sell stalemate unbroken. Within medium-heavy rare earths, trading also showed divergence, as dysprosium and terbium metals saw slight price concessions to facilitate shipments amid resistance to high-priced deals, with an overall strong wait-and-see atmosphere in the market. In the short term, the price trend of Pr-Nd products still needs to be observed in light of market trading conditions, but with upstream willingness to hold prices firm strengthening, prices may drift higher.
