ACG Metals announced that its Gediktepe mine in Türkiye produced its first copper concentrate on 31 August. This marks the completion of commissioning for the Sulphide Expansion Project and the start of ramp-up. The company said the milestone was achieved safely and on budget.
The expansion adds copper and zinc concentrates to Gediktepe’s production profile, with gold and silver as by-products. The operation is now focused on increasing throughput and optimising plant performance, targeting full production by the end of 2026.
