【SMM Aluminum Flash News】ALRO Reports 20% Revenue Growth and 243% EBITDA Increase in H1 2026

Published: Sep 1, 2026 14:13
ALRO announced its interim results for 2026, showing a 20% year-on-year increase in revenue to 2.4 billion Romanian lei, compared to 2 billion Romanian lei in the same period of 2025. This growth was primarily driven by the sale of high-value-added products to high-end industries and the company's strategy of consolidating its position in the European market and expanding into international markets. EBITDA for the first half of the year reached 327 million Romanian lei, a 243% year-on-year increase. Net profit for the first half of the year was 101 million Romanian lei, compared to 17 million Romanian lei in the same period of 2025. The net profit growth was attributed to revenue growth, improved operating profitability, and profit margin consolidation, which partially offset the impact of adverse cost changes.
