In June this year, the domestic sales share of new energy passenger vehicles climbed to 67.2%. For the first half of the year, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 7.438 million units and 7.446 million units respectively, rising by 6.7% and 7.3% year-on-year.

Exports delivered particularly robust performance. New energy vehicle exports hit 2.355 million units in the first half of the year, accounting for 46% of total automobile exports. June’s single-month export volume stood at 523,000 units, surging 160% year-on-year.
