US July PCE Price Index Holds Steady at 3.7%, Exceeding Expectations, Boosting Fed Rate Hike Odds

[SMM Precious Metal Express] US July PCE price index came in at 3.7% year-on-year, unchanged from the previous month and above the market expectation of 3.6%. Following the data, market expectations for a Fed rate hike next month edged higher.
