[SMM Flash] EGA Al Taweelah Aluminum Smelter Production Resumption Progress at 25%

EGA recently announced that the progress of pot production resumptions at its Al Taweelah aluminum smelter has reached 25%, with capacity restoration work advancing steadily. The smelter has a total of 1,262 pots, of which 315 have completed restart and resumed production. To accelerate production resumptions, EGA is carrying out parallel restoration and restart work on three electrolysis production lines at the plant: Line 1, Line 3, and Line 2 were powered on and resumed production on May 26, July 13, and August 3, respectively. After restart, each pot takes one week to stabilize to full production capacity.
