【Sinomine Restores Bikita Transport, Secures 500kt Quota】

Sinomine Resources disclosed on August 25 that the transport of lithium concentrate from its Bikita mine in Zimbabwe has been fully restored, and the supply can now meet the raw material needs of its domestic smelting capacity.In February this year, the Zimbabwean government temporarily suspended lithium concentrate export approvals to combat smuggling and encourage local processing. After active communications, the company obtained an initial 200,000-ton export quota in April and a further 300,000-ton quota in July. Overcoming challenges such as tight overland transport capacity and port congestion in Africa, the company steadily improved logistics and eventually achieved full recovery.The Bikita mine is a core asset of Sinomine Resources in Africa. The consecutive quota grants and the transport restoration demonstrate the company's effective coordination with local authorities, as well as the adaptability of Chinese enterprises during a period of shifting resource policies in Africa.
