[Baosteel: H1 Net Profit Reached 4.571 Billion Yuan]

Baosteel published its 2026 semi-annual report. In H1, the company achieved revenue of 160.731 billion yuan, up 6.18% YoY; net profit attributable to shareholders was 4.571 billion yuan, down 6.30% YoY; total profit reached 5.784 billion yuan, down 12.18% YoY, mainly due to high raw material and fuel prices, a weakening steel market, and a continuous narrowing of the purchase-sales price spread in H1. The announcement stated that during the reporting period, the company produced 23,765 kt of iron, 25,537 kt of steel, and sold 25,682 kt of commercial steel products.
