Recently, SPIC Green Energy Co., Ltd. issued a termination notice for its 20th batch of centralized tenders in 2026 (new energy projects). Among them, the tender for an additional procurement section for one set of alkaline water electrolysis hydrogen production equipment with a hydrogen production capacity of 1,000 Nm³/h for the Da’an wind and solar power green hydrogen-to-synthetic ammonia integrated demonstration project has been terminated.
The terminated section is D20-01, corresponding to tender No. DNYZC-2026-05-27-041-01. The notice shows that the section was terminated in accordance with the bid inviter’s notification, without further explanation of the specific reasons.
The project is located in Liangjiazi Town, Da’an City, Baicheng City, Jilin Province, and is expected to have an annual hydrogen production capacity of 32,000 mt and an annual synthetic ammonia output of 180,000 mt, with supporting construction of one air separation unit and hydrogen storage facilities.
The original tender scope included an additional set of alkaline electrolyzers with an actual hydrogen production capacity of 1,000 Nm³/h under rated operating conditions, one water-cooled IGBT rectifier, and one rectifier transformer. The related procurement also involved complete sets of equipment such as the busbar bridge from the low-voltage side to the IGBT rectifier, DC connection copper busbar, electrical and instrumentation systems, on-site and remote instrumentation, online analytical instruments, piping, electrical, and communications.
In addition to the new hydrogen production equipment, the original tender content also included renovation of the existing air separation liquefaction framework, enhancement of the existing air separation unit’s capability for synchronous operation with the electrolyzers, as well as related civil works and installation and construction work.
This termination applies to the above procurement section for alkaline water electrolysis hydrogen production equipment, and the project construction scale and planning content disclosed in the notice remain unchanged.
