Surat-based solar module manufacturer and EPC solutions provider Solex Energy Limited has listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange under code 544862. The company currently operates a 4GW solar module manufacturing facility in Tadkeshwar, Gujarat, and is expanding its manufacturing operations with a focus on high-efficiency modules and newer PV technologies. Under its Vision 2030 strategy, Solex targets 10GW each of solar module and cell capacity, 10GW of BESS infrastructure, and 2GW of wafer and ingot capacity. In FY2026, revenue rose 144% YoY, with an order book exceeding INR 34 billion.

[SMM PV News] Chongqing's installed wind and solar power generation capacity exceeded 10 million kW

According to State Grid Chongqing Electric Power Company, Chongqing's total installed wind and PV power capacity exceeded 10 million kW, reaching 10.39 million kW, up more than 17% from the end of 2025 and accounting for more than 23%, as the energy mix accelerates its shift toward clean and low-carbon. As of the end of July, Chongqing's distributed PV installed capacity reached 5.25 million kW, accounting for more than half of the total installed wind and PV capacity.
