Largo Approved to Produce Copper and PGM By-products in Brazil

Largo said Brazil’s National Mining Agency has approved the production and sale of copper, PGMs, nickel and cobalt as by-products from its Maracás Menchen vanadium mine. The company plans to use existing processing and ilmenite flotation infrastructure to produce copper-PGM concentrate without building a standalone operation. Largo expects higher margins than ilmenite concentrate, though no production or sales targets were disclosed.

(hereinafter referred to as "Jinchuan") to PT Huafei Nickel Cobalt (Indonesia). According to SMM's understanding, this order corresponds to the sulfuric acid that Jinchuan loaded onto a vessel on April 28. The appearance of this volume in June's data is due to a timing mismatch—either in Indonesia's customs clearance process or in the filing of the certificate of origin.
