Sustained downstream demand from semi‑solid battery coating separators and cathode additives supports the market; SMM data suggests H2 output of 2,000‑2,500 tons, providing a firm floor.

1.2 Industry Dynamics

Zhongke Yuanben's successful on‑road test of a sulfide all‑solid‑state battery boosted confidence in the sulfide route. Green Eco‑Manufacture’s 500‑ton pilot base in Wuxi received approval. Overall, sulfide material prices are still seeking a bottom, while oxides have stabilised first.

Shandong Chuanglu has completed pilot verification for its full range of solid‑state electrolytes and lithium‑rich manganese‑based cathodes; its 150‑ton/year electrolyte line is installed and commissioned, and its thousand‑ton cathode line has entered trial production.

Xiangtan Electrochemical’s subsidiary Guangxi Lijin is co‑developing manganese‑based lithium applications for semi‑solid/solid‑state batteries and low‑temperature power markets, with breakthroughs expected by end‑2026 or early 2027; no revenue impact yet.

Mingguan New Materials has completed client sample trials of its high‑temperature‑resistant aluminium‑plastic film for solid‑state batteries, using a 120°C‑resistant modified resin that improves peel strength by over 40% at 85°C and over 50% at 120°C. This “hidden link” in the solid‑state supply chain deserves close attention.
