Baiyin Nonferrous Launches 5 Tonnes Tellurium Ingots Tender, Bidding Starts August 11

SMM News, August 5: According to official information obtained by SMM, Baiyin Nonferrous Group Co., Ltd. launched a public tender for 5 tonnes of tellurium ingots starting today.

Official documents show that the tellurium ingots meet the Te99.95 standard.

The tender reserve price is at a discount of RMB 40 per kilogram.

Storage location: factory warehouse. Transportation costs shall be borne by the buyer.

Registration closes at 15:00 on August 10, 2026; bidding commences at 15:00 on August 11, 2026.

Baiyin Nonferrous Group to Conduct Inquiry for Crude Selenium Premium-Discount Levels

SMM News, September 2: According to official information from Baiyin Nonferrous Group Gansu Honglu Gold Co., Ltd., the company plans to conduct a premium‑discount inquiry for its produced crude selenium with a grade of approximately 98‑99%. No official information on the base premium‑discount level has been released so far. The official stated that this inquiry shall only serve as a reference for sales, rather than the final selling price.
